In a pamphlet distributed during the 2008 South Carolina primary, Obama boasted that the people with whom he worked recognized him as a man who “knew the Scriptures.” Obama went on to say, in that same pamphlet, that it was from a sermon at Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s church, “I learned that my sins could be redeemed.”
Sins redeemed? In the Scriptures, our sins are forgiven (John 20:23), pardoned (Mark 2:5), taken away (John 1:29), cleansed (Hebrews 1:3), and erased (Acts 3:19). Never are our sins said to be redeemed; that is, bought back or brought back. God redeems us (Galatians 3:13), our souls (I Kings 1:29), and our lives (Psalms 103:4), not our sins.
Taking his own words at face value, Obama tells us that at Wright’s church, he learned he could continue to walk in his sins, and still claim to be a “committed Christian.” Obama learned from Wright how to be a Marxist while hiding behind a facade of Christianity. But try as he might, Obama could not portray himself as a “committed Christian” without the counterfeit nature of those assertions shining brightly through his empty religious rhetoric, demonstrating for the umpteenth time that “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain” (I Corinthians 3:20).
On September 28, 2010, at a campaign barbecue in Albuquerque, Obama said he became a Christian because the
“precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead, being my brothers’ and sisters’ keeper . . .”
Jesus never expressed any such precept. In all of Scripture, only the liar and murderer, Cain, used the term “brother’s keeper.” Never are we urged by the inspired Word of our Creator to be our “brother’s keeper.” The word keeper in the Hebrew has an imprisoning connotation; the apostle Paul teaches, “For freedom Christ frees us” (Galations 5:1). Attempting to force the words of Cain into the mouth of Christ is more than a gross misunderstanding of Scripture; it is an abject, intentional perversion of it.
The way of Cain denies God and exalts the perverse reasonings of mankind. The apostle John wrote that “Cain was of the wicked one” (I John 3:12), and so is Barack Hussein Obama. Presenting Cain’s words as if they were Christ’s reveals what is truly in Obama’s mind and heart: a lying spirit, what the apostle John called “the spirit of deception” (I John 4:6).
Obama does not know the Scriptures: He knows how to use the Scriptures to deceive the ignorant and the unstable. In my book Outing the Moronocracy, I present example after example of Obama’s contempt for the Sacred Scriptures, his willingness to twist them in order to deceive others, and his intent to usurp their power for his own nefarious ends.
There is one more example that magnifies the fact that Obama’s entire life is a sinister fraud. We are enjoined by the apostle Paul not to be “walking in craftiness nor yet adulterating the Word of God” (II Corinthians 4:2). Obama does exactly that in Dreams from My Father, an autobiographical account of his imagined racial grievances against America and white society. Obama dedicates his book by quoting I Chronicles 29:15 thus: “For we are strangers before THEM, and sojourners, as were all our fathers” (My emphasis), giving the impression that there is scriptural validation for the festering racial resentments nursed by this man of extraordinary privilege.
The verse is actually part of King David’s exultant prayer thanking and glorifying God (I Chronicles 29:10-19). I Chronicles 29:15 reads in truth: “For we are strangers before THEE, and sojourners, as were all our fathers” (My emphasis again). By changing one word, Obama turned the “we” representing Israel into an aggrieved black population, and the Creator of the heavens and the earth into an oppressive, white American society. Obama transmutes Spirit-inspired, heartfelt thanksgiving to God into a demonic justification for racial animosity in America. The very dedication of his book is a twisted, contrived lie. His chapters that follow it are dedicated to promoting that lie.
Let’s return to Obama’s statement that those with whom he worked recognized that he “knew the Scriptures.” Such a remark, from a man unable to distinguish between the way of Cain and the way of Christ, manifests unapologetic arrogance. Those who unfeignedly labor in the Word of God learn very quickly that Obama has it backwards: In truth, the Scriptures, inspired as they are by our Creator, know us:
“For the word of God is living and operative, and keen above any two-edged sword, and penetrating up to the parting of soul and spirit, both of the articulations and marrow, and is a judge of the sentiments and thoughts of the heart. And there is not a creature which is not apparent in its sight. Now all is naked and bare to the eyes of Him to Whom we are accountable” (Hebrews 4:12-13).
So how does the Word of God judge the sentiments and thoughts of a man who willfully alters the Scripture for his own selfish benefit?
“Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar” (Proverbs 30:5-6). Consider Obama exposed and reproved as a liar, not by me, but by the One whose servant he so flagrantly and deceptively pretends to be.
Our first president, George Washington, gave heartfelt, public thanks and praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our forty-fourth president, Barack Hussein Obama, a Marxist and a Darwinist, lies about being part of the body of Christ. Are there words strong enough to condemn the vileness of such a disgraceful degeneration?
