12 Year Old Girl Blasts Intruder With Family Gun

intruder21n-4-webWith all that goes into the Left’s attacks against the Second Amendment, gun owners, and the advancement of new gun laws, it’s always good to read a story where the point is made of just how good it is for individuals to own a weapon. This story is a bout a 12 year-old-girl who shot and wounded a man who had kicked in the back door of her home!

Kendra St. Clair, who lives in Bryan County, told Oklahoma City television station KWTV that the stranger rang her doorbell and then went around her house to the back. He then proceeded to kick in the door.

The young girl quickly called her mother, who told her to get the family’s gun. She then went and hid in the closet. As the man entered the room where she was hiding and began to turn the door knob of the closet, the girl opened fire.

“I heard the bathroom light turn on that was leading to the closet,” she explained. “And when I saw the door handle turn, I shot him.”

According to authorities Clair hit Jones in the chest with a .40 caliber bullet from a Glock pistol.

“I kept my head on straight,” Kendra said, even though she was terrified.

Kendra’s mother said that she usually doesn’t leave her children home alone, but has to on occasion as a single mother of two with a full-time job.

Police say the man, Stacey Jones, 32, was taken to the hospital and then to the Bryan County Jail. His bail was set at $250,000 on Friday. His court date is set for December.

“I was told by the police that he had been homeless for 10 days and that he might have been looking for food,” said Debra. “I would hate it if I knew he was watching her.”

Clair had never fired a gun before, but apparently she did the proper thing and shoot towards center mass. Yes she was behind a door, but apparently able to aim for the general vicinity and was able to save herself and aid the police in catching the bad guy!

This should inspire all parents to teach their kids proper gun safety and handling of a firearm. You never know when they will need it. Kudos to Kendra!

She only made one mistake. If you are ever faced with a situation like this you should only stop shooting when the magazine is empty. You make them walk through a wall of bullets. Rapid fire center mass is what it takes to drop his a$$.

Kendra, you were not only the subject of our safety meeting at work, but you are the hero to a bunch of us guys at a power plant in Texas

80 million plus gun owners and no statistics to show any of them committed a crime.
If 1% committed a ‘gun crime’ it would be 800,000
    1/10% would be 80,000
1/100% would be 8,000.. still no supporting data to show that PRIVATE OWNERSHIP of guns is the problem.
1/1000% 800 ‘gun crimes’ committed by law abiding Citizens. still no data.
On the other hand, Privately OWNED firearms stopped or prevented well over 1.5 million crimes.
Thats a lot of RAPES that were not committed.
A lot of murders that did not happen.
A lot of robberies that did not happen.
    The list goes on.
And this 12 year old girl is alive and well!

The problem seems to be the politicians and political appointees that would have the American people believe otherwise.
Maybe it’s time to hold class?
“Mr. schumer? do you have a moment to spare?”

Right on Girl!, If you hadn’t been smart, brave and trained you would have been violated and murdered.

Hey Chicago!! You listening CHICAGO!!! Everyone needs a trained gun man at home to provide Home Protection.

Lots of liberal women get raped everyday, but they rationalize it away by believing they brought it on themselves, then they realize they simply really enjoyed it, therefore it is never reported because the act of violence never took place in their sic world.

She did the right thing at a time of tremendous stress. Most people fail there.
It is important to have a plan, and to rehearse that plan with whomsoever will be in the house. Our little family knows to do two things if there is an unannounced stranger in our house at night [1] make sure I am awake [2] lay down on the floor, under a bed if possible, do not stand up. Anyone standing up will go down, and I will pray for their immortal soul.

When I read this, I paused to reflect on what happened to Jeanine Nicarico. Kendra is brave and alive today. Great job, Kendra!
