Appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman, Barack Obama smiled and appeared as though he was at home as he fielded softball questions from the late night talk show host.
Yet one thing that he mentioned on the show was the fact that he never would refer to anyone as being unpatriotic. Watch the video below. The remarks start around the 22:25 mark.
Obama said,
“(One) thing I’ve never tried to do is — and I think none of us can do in public office — is suggest that because someone doesn’t agree with me that they’re victims, or they’re unpatriotic, or they don’t have a sense of responsibility.”
But this is simply untrue, like much of what comes out of Obama’s mouth. Do your recall back in 2008 he did exactly that as he referred to the trillions of dollars of debt the Bush administration racked up and this is what he said, “Number 43 added four trillion dollars [to the national debt] by his lonesome…that’s irresponsible, that’s unpatriotic.”
The problem for Obama is the same problem my father used to tell me about all liars. He would tell me, “Son, when you tell a lie, you then eventually have to tell another lie to cover for that one and another and another, until you can’t remember which lies you’ve told and you can’t separate the truth from a lie.” Those are wise words I learned early on. It appears that Barack Obama, who is nearly a decade older than me (at least by the online birth certificate he posted), has yet to learn this lesson and is daily getting caught in lies.
