Van Jones: GOP, Tea Party “Want to Hurt Americans To Gain Politically”

van jonesWell former Obama administration czar, and still a communist, Van Jones was at it again on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. As always, rather than deal with his former boss’ failure in economic policy and leadership, or lack thereof, he blames…..the Tea Party. That’s right the Tea Party is responsible for everything in Van Jones’ world. Jones declared that the Republican Party has a “bodies on the beach” strategy. He claims that the more people are lined up on the beach, the more likely they will be to “fire the lifeguard,” referring to Barack Obama.

“They want Obama fired so they don’t care how many Americans are in economic pain,” he said. “The more Americans in fact in economic pain, they see for themselves political gain. And that’s why you’ve seen not just the Tea Party but the entire Republican party refuse to step up to the plate on common sense stuff like tax cuts for small businesses, tax help for veterans. Go down the line and you’ll see that things Republicans stood for, they stand against and won’t pass in this Congress because they want to hurt the American people economically so they can gain politically. That’s not just the Tea Party.”

Senator Charles Schumer was also on and while he rightly said that the problem was not a Republican one, he then claimed “But there’s a fight within the republican party. There are some Republican senators who want to work with us. They really did.”

Yes that’s right Senator Schumer. We refer to those are RINOs. They are Democrats that bear the title of Republican. The Senate Democrats are unwilling to work with true Republicans and sadly genuine Republicans are hard to find now days.

He then said that the trouble is that “the Tea Party group is gaining ascendancy in the Republican party. Bad for them, but worse for the country.”

Schumer then declared,

“One of the worse things that happened that will prevent us from reaching a resolution of the fiscal cliff in December was the loss of Dick Lugar. He was respected, liked. And the guy he lost to said — he’s a Tea Party guy — he said, ‘I believe there’s too much compromise in Washington. The only compromise I want is when Democrats surrender to Republicans.’ How — that is not how the founding fathers set up our system. Now, the good news is America corrects itself. It may correct itself in this election. One of the reasons that we’re doing much better in the Senate than anyone thought is because the hard right, the Tea Party is knocking off mainstream Republican candidates and putting up their candidates. Last time, that led to the election of Democrats in places like Colorado, Nevada, Delaware.”

My goodness, if liberals could just see that they are the ones that have basically been in charge over the past four years and we are in the mess we are in because of them, not the Tea Party. The Tea Party is seeking to hold elected officials accountable by placing them in office, watching how they are representing them and if they are not acting properly firing them the next election. I’m guessing some RINOs will be gone this year and more Tea Party representatives will be voted in.

The Tea Party is doing what they can to try and help America, not hurt it. After all, Barack Obama, Democrats, and RINOs have done plenty to do that already.

Charles Schumer is a 100% complete idiot. If h wants to go along with the commies he must be one. All of his commentary seems to indicate that. The Tea Party could be the major saving grace for this country and it is too bad that the unions in the gaming industry defeated Sharon Angle. When that occurred I made the vow that I would not spend another red cent in Nevada until Dingy Liar Harry is dumped out of office.

VAN seems to forget that all that bills that Senator Harry Reid DEMOCRAT wont even bring to a vote that are sponsored by republicans, so who is REALLY not playing on a level ball field. if he is that sure that there are “reasonable” Republicans, then let them vote on EVERY bill. there needs to be a rule/law change so that NO ONE CAN PREVENT a bill from being voted on, in a timely matter. so its not a matter of Repubs wanting Dems to surrender, but that the Dems wont let a fight happen, if it would make them look bad to the public, its safer to NOT have a no vote on something that might help american citizens, unless they are of a minority group trying to get extra considerations.

I am very disapporinted in most of the comments here. What i read here is not a different tone than MSNBC, Huffington Post, Move on, Etc. All of the stated and implied violence against Jones and the name-calling. i am ashamed to see the depths to which many of the supporters of the Tea Party have sunk, unless all of the trash talk here is really provided by the Progressive bloggers masquerading as conservatives and that is a possiblility I guess.
Read his book, Storm, look at the old “in his own words” clips that are available on GBTV plus, and then see how he is redefining himself as a reasonable facsimile of MLK Jr. DON’T BELIEVE A WORD OF IT. HE IS ADOPTING THE REASONABLE MEANS TO ACCOMPLISH THE RADICAL END.
There is no doubt that he is a Communist, an Obama “general”, and a truly smart, smooth talker, much more so than Obama. He is dangerous but, save the threats of violence toward him. Not OK.
