OK, this will be short and sweet and to the point. I’ve heard the news about the Wisconsin shooting and how it was done by a 40-year-old white guy by the name of Wade Michael Page. The murders took place at a Sikh Temple. Now personally, I’m unaware of what Sikh believe other then they are monotheistic, the men wear turbans and let their beards grow like Muslims. In fact, many of the Sikh faith claim they are often mistaken fro Muslims.
Fox News Reports on the gunman being an army veteran:
Page, who served in the military for six years but was never stationed overseas, was a psychological operations specialist and Hawk Missile System repairman. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct award, the National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal and Parachutist Badge. While stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., in 1998, he was disciplined for being drunk on duty and busted down from sergeant to specialist, sources told Reuters. He was not eligible to re-enlist, the sources said.
Once booted, the Colorado native, who said he began playing guitar at age 13, apparently traveled the country, attending skinhead festivals that may have helped solidify his warped world view. Before his move to Milwaukee, Page was based in Littleton, Colo., from 2000 to 2007, 9News reported. A man bearing the same name was reportedly convicted of DUI in 1999 in Denver. Page was also ticketed for driving without a valid license in 1999, according to 9News.
It is also believed that Page was a member of a white supremacist group.
FBI Special Agent in Charge Theresa Carlson said Page was known to law enforcement authorities, but did not give details. Carlson said authorities are interested in learning what role Page’s ties to white supremacy played in his attack.
“We are looking at his ties to white supremacist groups,” she said.
What I find ironic about all of this is how two shootings like this have taken place inside a month along with a UN gun grab treaty taking place and more cries from liberals to institute more gun control. Does this strike anyone else as coincidental?
The Obama DOJ would not even refer to the Ft. Hood Massacre, in which Nidal Malk HAsan, a Muslim who was a Major in the U.S. Army, killed 13 people and wounded 29 others, as a terrorist act. It was labeled “workplace violence.” This incident is already being labeled “domestic terrorism.” Part of that labeling of terrorism seems to be to justify the involvement of the FBI.
One more thing along those lines. In the past two shootings the men have been white males. Anyone want to bet that those of us who are white males will end up being racially profiled by this administration? I’m not trying to be funny here. I’m simply saying that the standard of what was terrorism a decade ago usually carried the idea that Muslims were behind it. Now, in America the definition of a terrorists is slipping towards white males.
In addition, eyewitnesses have claimed that there were four men dressed in dark clothing who opened fire on the people there at the temple. The official story is that Page is a lone gunman.
Six people were killed before Page allegedly took his own life. Three others were also wounded.
The Sikh religion is one of the groups that Michele Bachmann referred to in her letters to the US State Department, the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, that she came under attack for. She claimed that there was the possibility that Sikh “hate crimes” would be being carried out under false pretenses of ignorance for their religious ideals.
Michele Bachmann was not alone in pointing out the danger to Sikh-Amerians. Susanne Posel reports,
Naming Sikh-Americans as possible targets for “hate crimes” the letter to Holder and Muller commented on the Sikh’s “distinct identity and common misperceptions with respect to their attire and appearance” saying that this group is often erroneously believed to be “affiliated with extremists and were somehow responsible for the September 11 terrorist attacks.”
It was arbitrarily mentioned in an MSM article that the gunman had a “9/11 tattoo” possibly making the tie between the attack and 9/11 retaliation.
Joseph Crowley, House Representative wrote in a letter to Holder and Muller that: “Numerous reports have documented how those practicing the Sikh religion are often targeted for hate violence because of their religiously-mandated turbans — i.e. because of their Sikh identity, regardless of whether the attacker understands the victim to be Sikh or not.”
One of the most disturbing things about Mr. Page is the fact the while in the Army he served in the Psycological Operations Unit in Ft. Bragg, N.C. What are Psychological Operations?
In 2002, the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon defined psychological operations as “integrated employment of the core capabilities of electronic warfare, computer network operations, psychological operations, military deception, and operations security, in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt, corrupt or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own. Also called IO.” (emphasis added)
Are any of these events taking place Psychological Operations on the American people? I don’t know to be honest. However, one thing is clear. We know this man’s history and we also know that our own government has not only been feeding us propaganda, but they also legalized that propaganda.
One thing we can expect from all of this is more cries for gun control from the left. They will continue to do it at every opportunity and I for one will be here to refute outlandish claims that more laws will stop any more killings from taking place. Liberals showed no shame in calling for more legislation to be forced down the throats of Americans within 24 hours of the Aurora shooting. Even now they have begun the same tactic in this instance.
