Now you know you are in trouble when a liberal analyst like Santita Jackson, daughter of Jesse Jackson, says that a Democrat is “insulting” by using cadence and certain phrases to a black audience. She said this in responding the the speech vice-president Joe Biden gave earlier this week. It looks like Joe Biden is in hot water, even with the liberals. Perhaps the Obama campaign believes that as well and has put him in the corner this week for the second time this month.
The comments Biden delivered to a predominantly black audience in Danville, Virginia were clearly in the vein that was racially insulting and clearly race baiting.
“They’ve said it. Every Republican’s voted for it. Look at what they value, and look at their budget. And look what they’re proposing,” Biden said about Romney’s plan.
“[Romney] said in the first hundred days, he’s going to let the big banks write their own rules — unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains.”
Jackson told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that she would not give Biden a pass on his comments.
“I found these remarks to be profoundly insulting,” she said. “It’s one thing to be familial. It’s another thing to become familiar and familiarity breeds contempt. This comes very close to being contemptuous.”
“These remarks are insulting,” she continued. “Not only does he need to dial them back, he needs to apologize.”
While Ms. Jackson doesn’t know why the campaign won’t address the issue and apologize, she maintains her support for the Obama campaign.
Well at least she did come out and take on the vice-president’s comments and blast him for them. Maybe she should do the same thing with Obama. After all he recently issued a racist executive order that benefits black children over white children. Oh wait, in liberal’s eyes favoring blacks over whites is not racist, it’s “equality.”
Jackson’s comments came just after Virginia Governor Douglas Wilder told Neil Cavuto that he was offended at Biden’s comments as well. Wilder was the first black governor since reconstruction.
