Democrats Imploding As They Add Jimmy Carter To 2012 DNC

101206_jimmy_carter_ap_328Seriously, the Obama campaign is doing everything wrong they can do. They are asking for more stimulus in a bad economy and one that seems to be turning down even more, attacking opponents even when there is nothing to attack, bringing on board Bill “Bull in a china shop” Clinton, and now they are going to insert former President Jimmy “Peanut” Carter into the Democrat National Convention speaking platform.

Well Carter will not be in Charlotte, N.C. live, but he will address the convention on Tuesday, September 4, according to a press release.

Los Angeles Mayor and Convention Chair Antonio Villaraigosa said in the release:

“President Carter is one of the greatest humanitarian leaders of our time and a champion of democracy around the globe.”

There is no doubt that Jimmy Carter has done some good things with organizations like “Habitat For Humanity,” but seriously he has not been a “champion of democracy.”

Now you have to catch the irony here. First, Barack Obama has been compared to Jimmy Carter numerous times. While Jimmy Carter is considered to be one of the worst presidents in U.S. history, Obama has far surpassed what Jimmy Carter did and may just outdo the former president when it comes to being a bad president.

Second, Carter was one that wanted Mitt Romney to win the GOP nomination last year. He did so because he believed Barack Obama would be more likely to win reelection against Romney. That’s not as ironic, I know as Obama being compared to Carter, because the Obama campaign wanted Rommey as well.

The worst president in U.S. history, prior to Obama said in a press release “Rosalynn and I regret that we will be unable to be at the Democratic Convention this year in Charlotte. However, we remain steadfast in our support for President Obama and the progress he will make in the next four years.”

Well let’s not hold our breath just yet. Neither party even has an actual nominee and so far all we’ve seen from Barack Obama is continuing to blame Bush, slaps in the face of American businesses, taxing the American people with a health care law they don’t want, and a failing economic policy. I would hardly call that “progress.”

But I’m sure with Jimmy Carter we’ll get to fire some cracks off at the “peanut gallery.”

Oh Mah Gawd. Anyone who votes Dem is a frakkin’ IDIOT. But we already know that, don’t we.

  • MontieR

The DNC has lost what little mind it had left. Pun intended.

  • Dens

    Will they be serving peanuts?

  • raynbene

I can’t wait to hear what Bill does when he speaks – I may even watch it – he has no love for obuma, and I still think his only goal is to get Billary into the WH. . .think 2016 . . .
Oy – THE worst all-time loser presidents ever to foul a stage platform – and they have to drag Cahtuh out of the rest home – they ought to let Dennis the Menace speak, too. . . .this is hilarious ! !
I hear George W. Bush will not be at the Republican convention, this is probably appropriate, even though I would kinda like to hear him speak, but I can see his point about declining to appear.

  • Maria Andrews

Lol.. nothing like having the ‘ formerly worst presdient of all time” speaking at the convention for the ” residing worst president of all time” Whoo Hoo!

  • Gringo Infidel

Carter, eh? Could not get the permit to dig up Marx or Engels?

  • kenpo5

Maybe Jimmy Carter can say something stupid like “I was just talking to my daughter Amy this morning about Barrack Obama and she even agrees that he was worse than me when I was president”.

  • ckelly40

Good for Jimmy Carter and conservatives. I do have a problem with the Republican convention having John McCain as a speaker. They also have several other RINOs speaking. Where’s Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, etc…

  • wfwilson6

My vote for the Keynote and Nomination speeches at the democratic national convention is Sandra Fluke.

That’s what I’d call the “blind leading the blind.”

  • luckycheetah

Hard to believe that they asked the worse president to speak to them. He can not give Obama good advise. He only can ask Obama to continue on this failed plan . Obama will take his place as the worse president of the USA.. Pllus the biggest liar in the world………..(seven lies in one minute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UErR7i2onW0&feature=related )

  • cmjay

This is great news . JIMMY CARTER is the GIFT that keeps on GIVING. The GOP can’t ask for a better choice.

  • WASP

Between a Marxist President, a amoral mink like Billary Clinton, a senile old socialist like Carter, and the world’s ugliest politweasel like Wasserman-test-Schmaltz, it would appear the DNC, dispite Soros’ millions, is in bad shape. May it die a quick but agonizing death, along with many of it’s members.

Jimmy Carter? The Dems might as well invite Vladimir Putin to their convention.

    • MontieR

They did but he changed his name to Pelosi.

  • fliteking

They better make his speech short or put a diaper on him . . .

  • Josephco

Too bad the peanut vendor is not going to be at the convention in person. I can’t wait to hear all the nonsense that always spills out of his mouth. I guess they invited him for some comic relief.

  • John Hand

I am not sure many of you are aware…Jimmy Carter has been the best friend the so-called ‘Palestinians’ have ever had. He makes speeches in Gaza, gets money from them, and constantly speaks against Israel. Not making this up, I have seen the reports. And the real bummer, we the American taxpayers have to pay to have all those Secret Service agents go along with him and Rosalind everywhere they go to protect his sorry A–.
