Bloomberg Shows No Shame In Calling For More Gun Control


VH1 Save The Music Foundation Holds A Press ConferenceIn typical liberal fashion and as expected New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg called for increased gun control in the wake of the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin. This time he took it in speech form as he expressed condolences to a crowd in New York at the Sikh Cultural Society on Monday.

Bloomberg said,

“There’s something else that we shouldn’t lose sight of either. Just two weeks after the tragedy in Aurora, we’ve seen another mass shooting. One in which it appears that there were some warning signs about the shooter. And still, the presidential candidates have not given the American public a plan to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.”

Yeah, yeah Bloomberg. We heard you the other week when you expressed your ridiculous call for police to go on strike until we all give up our guns.

As I pointed out previously, the more laws that are passed will only restrict law-abiding citizens. They will not stop criminals or their bullets or the guns they obtain, all while violating your laws.

Just to make the point, Fox News’ Neil Cavuto pointed out in the aftermath of the Arurora, CO shooting that Norway “has among the toughest gun laws in the planet not to mention a reputation for having among the most peaceful citizens on the planet but that didn’t stop Anders Breivik from going on a rampage that left 77 dead…in 2011.”

    What about Automobile control? Don’t people get killed in car accidents or by drunk drivers? If you liberals need to scream about guns you need to do the same about cars. If ya can’t then shut up.

    Our liberal government government and the politically correctness has led to the fact that a person is free to act until he/she has acted. A sensible solution is something that we have done away with. Incarnation of people who have a propensity to commit these deplorable acts. To deprive these people of their freedom under a excessive interpretation of the constitution, is a charade. But somehow we have decided that their freedom is more important that the lives that they destroy, with their idiotic delusions. And another thing, people like Bloomberg need to shut up about gun control. GUNS DON’T KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE DO. AND THERE IS NO GUN CONTROL THAT WILL STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING.

    Banning guns will do as little as banning drugs has. Ban ‘em all you want, they’ll always be there. The only thing a ban does is create a lucrative market for said banned item. This begs the question of whether as a society we want to actually tackle the underlying issues of a very real problem or do we want to settle for feel good bans that do nothing to solve any problem. I defy anyone to show me any evidence whatsoever that any sort of ban on any product has helped or even solved the problem it was supposed to.

    Mother Bloomberg, give it a rest already. The argument of “you’ll shoot your eye out” is falling on deaf ears. Americans are smart enough to realize that if they give up their guns, they become targets for target practice. Now be a good Mother and go lay down and get some sleep.

    Apparently Bloomberg hasn’t read the second amendment. They have replaced our original Constitution with a more ” progressive living ” constitution yet. The second amendment still is in effect.
