After going through a gaffe-filled week, Vice President Joe Biden will hit the campaign trail again next week. The only issue is that the Obama campaign will not be allowing “Uncle Joe” to go into any swing states. Instead they’ll be allowing him into three relatively “safe” blue states.
Biden will be traveling on Tuesday for campaign events in Minnesota, Michigan and New York.
After this past week’s gaffe’s in Danville, Virgina and then being sent packing by a small bakery owner it appears that the Obama campaign wants to keep old Joe on a leash, a very tight one.
The gaffe in Virgina, was a serious blunder and the thirteen electoral votes of that state Obama desperately needs to win re-election.
Hopefully, though Joe will show his colorful self again this week and make things even more embarrassing for the Obama campaign. I’m sure we are guaranteed insults and gaffes galore from the vice president.
While Joe pitched the slogan for the campaign about “Gm is alive, but Osama bin Laden is dead,” I think after this past week he should just put out the slogan “Chains you can’t believe in.”
