Second Amendment ‘Spins Out’ On O’Reilly Factor

Tuesday evening on Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly demonstrated just how ignorant he is when it comes to guns and gun laws. He was so insecure about his own thinking in regards to this that he hardly gave Rep. Jason Chaffetz opportunity to respond. But when Chaffetz did he schooled O’Reilly in the No Spin Zone.

    O’Reilly was totally wrong. He has no clue what the current laws are. His constent interruptions and mis-information made him look like a total fool. I stopped watching O’Reilly several years ago because he keeps interrupting his guests but in this case he was doubly wrong. Not only did he interrupt his guest but he also was also incorrect in his facts.

    Bill has lost me as a consistent viewer…he’s too hyper and arrogant. I would be surprised if his audience numbers haven’t slipped.

      Stop watching his show and let it be known that we, the public, don’t have to automatically support you. Give yourself a break for an hour and then tune in to Hannity…his show is much more pleasant and amiable.

    I didn’t realize how misinformed Bill O’Reilly really was.Not that I watch him often,and then for very short periods of time. But here he goes out of his way to spin liberal lies and talking points.It’s ashame that idiots that watch him on a regular basis will now believe you can go to a gun show and buy machine guns, bazookas and howitzers.And 60,000 rds of ammo that’s ten time the actual amount the guy had.I would hope that if some one walk in and laid out cash for 60 thousand rounds it would be the IRS questioning him about spending 10 times the amount of cash you can spend at one time with out it being reported to IRS.

    I couldn’t agree with Jack Reacher more. O’Reilly was smart enough to realize that a large segment of the American people were fed up with Clinton and slid into that time slot by exposing that Obummer-lite’s “extreme leftwing positions covered with honey”. O’Reilly is in it for himself and his ego, not for getting truth out to the American people, and this clip is a perfect example of just that.
    He has a predetermined position that he thinks will sell well, which he bloviates over, no matter what his well informed Congressional guest tries to tell him.
    He displays ignorance, bullying and his low class nature. I try to avoid him unless I’m early for Hannity or some particular guest is coming on I wish to see.
    This was an excellently written, well thought out and well laid arguement of an article.
    The only thing I noticed is that your “establishment date” of 1776 A.D. should be written as “A.D. 1776″ which means Anno Domini or “the year of our Lord 1776″.
    That may have been pointed out before but this is my first time to your site.

    There were policemen on the scene of the shooting in Aurora CO for crowd control and people were still killed. Bill O’Reilly needs to face this fact:There are EVIL people in the World.

    O’Reilly really blew it this time. He was talking all the ‘talking points’ of the far left. Heavy weapons?? My little S&W 9mm isn,t heavy at all, but it’s a semi automatic, and therefor “bad”. How about a little Ruger 10-22. It carries a drum magazine the holds 10 rounds, How horrible. But it’s only a 22, so is that classed as a “Heavy weapon-lite”?
    I buy boxes of 22 ammo in 550 round boxes a few times a month, should I be reported th the FBI?? I spent Sunday with my 10 year old grandson at my favorite TARGET range with a little lever action 22 and a Marlin semi-auto 22. I thought my grandson would love the lever action, but he was a better shot with the semi-auto. 10 round magazine, but semi auto. So was I bad by introducing him to a semi-auto?
    O”reilly should have listened to Chavittz. He may have learned something.
    Oh also, most AR47′s (EVIL) fire .308 ammo. Heavy stuff. My Win 70 .308 is therefore a ‘heavy weapon’?
    O’Reilly, you totally blew it. see if there are any openings at MSNBC, You sounded just as stupid as they always do.

    AGAIN big-mouth O’Reilly shows his foolish IGNORANCE by trying to over-talk people that KNOW what they are talking about! ~ How many people noted that O’Reilly kept saying that SIXTY THOUSAND rounds of large ammo was bought on the Internet when IN FACT the correct amount according to the police was “SIX” THOUSAND rounds of “assorted” handgun, rifle and shotgun ammo!
    Bottom Line: WHY do people waste their time listening to a self-exposed “Nail-Head” like Bill O’Reilly …..entertainment, maybe?!

    You can’t buy an Assault Rifle without a Class 3 License! The Ar-15′s and the AK-47′s sold everywhere are Semi-automatic only! Assault Rifles are capable of Full Automatic Fire! It doesn’t matter what it looks like! If it’s not capable of Full Automatic Fire, it’s not an Assault Rifle!
