Barack Obama, during his interview with Charlie Rose, in which he said that he thought he should have been telling more stories instead of focusing on policy also had other things to say. This one at least was honest.
Rose says that Obama’s opponent will say, “Let’s look at your record. Let’s look at the fact that unemployment is at 8.2%. It is unlikely to change. Let’s look at how effective the stimulus was. Let’s look at your management of the economy. Yes, it was a bad hand you were dealt, but you have not made it to what it ought to be. That is the centrality of their campaign.”
Obama smiled and nodded his head the entire time and reponded, “Exactly. That is his argument and you don’t hear me complaining about making that argument because if I was in his shoes I’d be making the same argument.”
Well then Barack Obama should have absolutely nothing at all to say in response to anyone who deals with him on his record. In fact, when anyone points out Barack Obama’s utter failure while in office, they can simply play this tape at the point where he says, “Exactly.”
Barack Obama knows he has done a terrible job as President and he now had admitted it to the entire world.
