Muppets Are ‘Haters’ Of Chick-Fil-A

Recently we reported that the Georgia-based fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A has been attacked by the Left and in particular the mayor of Boston, as well as, militant homosexuals because of their biblical stand on the family and marriage. Well now they are getting attacked by…the Muppets. Yes, The Jim Henson company has decided to go after Chick-Fil-A.

According to the company’s Facebook page,

The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors. Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD.

I wish these people would say what they have really embraced. How about sexual perverts? How about sexual deviants? How about sodomites? The company is not embracing diversity and inclusiveness. They are embracing sinfulness and perversion. Consequently they are worthy of the same judgment from God as the homosexuals.

Some of the comments though gives me hope that there are those in America who see through the Lefts agenda.

“I love the double standard that Jim Henson’s company is expressing by not … accepting Christians’ belief in the biblical definition of marriage,” wrote Valorie Phillips.

Michele Sparacino also wrote, “Lisa Henson you support gay marriage, however Chick-fil-A did not ban giving your toys out. So why would you ban Chick-fil-A. I know for a fact they hire gay people. They just do not believe in same sex marriage… Is that not there (sic) freedom of speech.”

All of this was spawned when Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy did an interview with Baptist Press and said, “We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”

The problem for the Henson Company was that they were in the midst of working with Chick-Fil-A to promote some of their toys in some of the kids meals that Chick-Fil-A offers.

Peter LaBarbera, of Americans for Truth, chimed in and said that what happened between The Henson Company and Chick-Fil-A amounted to nothing more than “fundamental intolerance of Christians.”

WND reports,

“You cannot accuse Chick-fil-A of somehow going out of their way to bash homosexuals. It’s a consistently Christian company,” he said. Homosexual activists, however, he said, “cannot abide” the biblical proscription of homosexual behavior, and they have the same attitude toward those to following those teachings.

“You have to look at the history of the homosexual movement,” he said. “It’s all about intimidating. The reason they fear Chick-fil-A is it’s a popular, respected, growing operation.”

“That Cathy actually has the temerity to hold his own beliefs as a Christian [they believe] he has committed some sort of crime,” he said.

While The Henson Company and others are targeting Chick-Fil-A as intolerant, Chick-Fil-A continues to serve homosexuals and some claim they have even hired some. The point of this should be clear. Chick-Fil-A takes a stand on an issue and they don’t bar people from entering their establishment. They serve everyone equal. But the liberals in our society, well they are a horse of a different color. They will boycott you in a minute. They will sling mud and names around and try to cast you out of society unless you bow to their god and their morality.

Good for Chick-Fil-A! If you are not aware, Wednesday, August 1, 2012 is going to be national Chick-Fil-A day. If you have one within driving distance please show your support of the company and its stand and get the best chicken sandwich in the business! Mike Huckabee had posted a Chick-Fil-A appreciation day and Facebook has “mysteriously” removed it.

In this entire fiasco, can anyone tell who the real “haters” are? It isn’t the Christians involved.

    I always thought the grass roots movement was about returning to our liberties awarded by the constitution. Unfortunately it seems its just a bunch of religeous zealots putting out their own biggoted views its a shame when a person who believes in our country and what it stands for but does not agree with the religeous right gets shot down or treated ill because they are different. Anybody who would dam another human being while using religeous views to do so is no worse then any terrorist in any country. We are human beings not gods so don’t try to act like the all powerfull and all knowing when you are simply a piece of a bigger pie.
    P.S. You can coment if you like but chances are it will fall on deaf ears.

    This has nothing to do with Liberals versus Conservatives. Infact the party lines have been so blurred and altered over the past 2 centuries that what both parties stand for is completely irrelevant here. In fact I can point to more conservatives violating the institution of marriage than I can liberals. John Edwards – a devote christian fathered a child with another women while his wife was going through cancer treatment. Newt Gingrich has been divorced 3 times and cheated on his former wife with his current one. And that is just two that pop into my head. This talk of perversion and going against God is prevalent in every facet of our society and Homosexuals do not bring greater perversion and disgrace to the institution of marriage. Heterosexuals have been doing that for Millennium! If God, should he actually exist, believe that Homosexuality was a Sin then why would he allow such things to exist? People keep clouting the old testament as to the justification for this but no where in the old or new testament does it state that homosexuality is a Sin. Furthermore the bible was not written by GOD himself nor was it written by Jesus. The bible was created by a bunch of men. Men who have been more perverted and disgraceful to the cloth than any homosexual. Men of the cloth have molested young boys, have sodomized children and destroyed the lives of thousands of people not only in this country but around the world far longer than the idea of homosexuality has existed! The problem with this and other articles similar to this is that Those in glass houses should not throw stones. “Let He without sin cast the first stone” I would love to know who amongst you have not sinned, who has not gone against Gods Commandments. It is time for out country, our world to accept the evolution of life and love. It doesnt matter if we are black or white, christians or jewish, American or Arab. We are a race of HUMAN BEINGS! We were all created by GOD and GOD So loved his Children. Homosexuals accept God and Jesus as his saviors, they accept Abraham as a prophet, and they accept every perversion that Heterosexuals have committed against the institution of Marriage. Why is it so challenging for Us as God Fearing Christians, for us as Heterosexuals that have the same Ideas, same thoughts, same EVERYTHING to accept our brothers and sisters as they are – as HUMAN BEINGS! This is a race of LIFE not a race of Who is right and who is WRONG! This is a Race of LOVE not a race of Conservatives or Liberals. We have all wronged ourselves, each other and our GOD! And if you are to ignorant to see that Then I dont want to share my Afterlife with you! And thank GOD our eternity is whatever we make it to be!

    Sorry about the typo. Should be, “They’re a woman or man short.” Stupid spell check! Also, brainwashing should stop, not start. The brainwashing has been going on since I was in High School when Judy Nitzberg, my civics and history teacher used to stand on a chair and march to union songs (Head of AFL/CIO in San Francisco while preaching socialism, bashing the government about their policies against the spread of communism. My kids have been indoctrinated to believe that Christianity is represented by white racist, homophobic polluters that don’t care about the next generation, that are trying to starve and deport the poor and disenfranchised, give tax breaks to the other rich Christians and stop poor rape victims from their right of choice to govern their own bodies.

    They believe that the Democrats are the only people that believe in democracy and that these racist, white, Christian men have a plan to derail and overthrow the government and hijack the Constitution to advance their own evil, hateful exclusive agenda. I have a friend that’s a fairly brilliant scientist that pretty much thinks the same thing. I can’t be around him when he’s drinking because the absurdity of the right wing conspiracy makes for an early evening. Normally smart people think the stupidest things and have the gall to attack the moral, law abiding citizens.

    If our president wants to change the laws he’s entrusted to enforce, he should present his ideas to Congress to change the laws. It is not his prerogative to decide what laws he wants to circumvent. That’s not in his purview.

    Back up, Junior. Let Congress change the law. Stay out of Syria. Don’t agree to a treaty that circumvents the 2nd Amendment. GW abstained for Constitutional reasons and so should you. Also, Enforce immigration. We’ve had too many “one time only, amnesties”. Enough is enough. Take care of your constituents. Legal immigrants are suffering as much as anybody.

    Where’s that hope and change you promised? Oh, was that you criticizing Bush when gas prices were high, four years ago? When you’re criticized for the same thing, that spin about it being good for the environment doesn’t work when alternate energy isn’t ready for prime time and our economy goes further down the toilet, on your watch. We can’t even track unemployment because of the high percentage that’s lost hope, run out of unemployment and left the system.

    I, personally don’t believe there can be such a thing as gay marriage. There isn’t a ban on it. It just doesn’t exist. Two men or two women are incompetent to be married. Their a woman or a man short.

    You can’t really call these people liberal. Say or do something that isn’t in their manifesto and you’re liabled or slandered. You’re the bad guy.

    Factually, Christians are under attack. Law abiding citizens are under attack. Our president won’t enforce law of immigration or the 2nd Amendment and is actively working against our interests. He said, “…we are not a Christian country.” He not only refused to enforce laws of immigration, he’s sued a state that tried to pick up his slack by trying to enforce the laws he won’t.

    Now, he’s pulling an end run, trying to circumvent the 2nd Amendment by entering into a treaty sponsored and run by Iran via the UN to take away gun owner rights protected by the Constitution. Seriously, Iran? Do you want Iran to know and control what weapons you have in our homes even if you don’t like guns?

    The principles that our forefathers constructed this nation on are lost. Freedom of religion is no longer real. What it means to the leftists is that they are free to indoctrinate our children from the government, through the public school system that our beliefs are invalid. If we believe in the Bible, we are right wing, racist and homophobic.

    That’s not who we are. We are the purveyors of God’s love and we are attacked and set upon for it. Less than 1% of us act irrationally. We believe in law, order, God’s law, the basis for our Constitution and our legal system.

    There is too much Christian bashing. The thought police, left is intolerant. They are the hatemongers. They refuse to be held to the standards they pretend to espouse. A Christian is every bit entitled to his beliefs. The left are anything but liberal about the freedom of others to believe what they will or to their freedom of religion.

    The Anti-Christian, Anti-Family Values left and their rationalizations for an assault against traditional marriage, traditional family values, our Constitution, our laws, our traditional choice of charity and expressions of love and life has taken it too far.

    The brainwashing of our youth should start now. Freedom of religion, freedom of expression and the freedoms of a lawful society are becoming extinct. We can’t just accept this indoctrination in the name of pretty words like liberal and progressive.while the moral fiber of our country is waylaid by a Godless, lawless, unscrupulous leftist agenda,

    Come back to freedom. Come back to law and order. Come back to faith. Don’t let them try to tell you you’re a racist or a homophobe (that’s a made up word). Those are ugly words meant to disparage good, honest, God loving and God respecting people. Don’t be silent. Offer your prayers. Offer your love. Offer your faith in people to do the right thing and shine as an example. Don’t give up. Sodom and Gomorrah were popular places and God washed them away. Have faith.

    No mystery about how Facebook erased Huckabee’s Chick-Fil-A appreciation day . When I tried to post something about that today my page was erased from Discus before I finished and a completely different page popped up- twice!
    Muppets are puppets. They used to be to entertain and teach children. Now they are political tools made to follow the liberal agenda. They got bought and paid for by this bunch of people who are cry baby news hounds with the morals of snakes.
    Chick -Fil-A is a good company and they have good food. When the Homosexuals begin their public display of kissing outside the store to get more attention to their agenda, I have no intention of making noet of it. I am sad that they are so misguided as to think that will help their cause. I will however buy more Chick-Fil-A sandwich’s. I respect Christians who hold firm to Christian principal and I respect the right to freedom of speech in America. Chick-Fil-A has never discriminated the hiring of homosexual people. There are laws in place to protect the public from display of indecent behavior such as the so called day of kissing though. I do not want to see people expose family’s and children to what is obviously meant to be sexual instead of simply affectionate. Affection would not be used to sit in a public place and kiss or paw in order to try to create a problem for a company that stands up for their civil rights.

    God Bless the owner and founder of Chick Fil A. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough people strong enough or willing to stand up for the Christian principles.
    As usual, the Liberals write their own wild and incorrect definition of everything that Christians practice and believe. I pray that they will see the “light” before it is too late.

    I have not been to a Chick-fil-A in years. Because of the liberals pulling this crap, I will start going again (went last night!) The hypocrisy of the liberals is so blatantly obvious in the comments regarding Chick-fil-A!! And, thank God, I am not the only one noticing this. Dan is being a true Christian – he opposes same-sex “marriage” while still embracing homosexuals as people who have made a wrong choice. I also heard Disney is pulling the same crap as the muppets. What is wrong with these people. I have not been to Disney World in years – they want a gay weekend, do it without my support!! I do not go to Home Depot, Office Depot, J C Penneys, K-Mart because of the attitude toward gays and the intolerance of Christians. Personally, I do not care about other people’s sexual preference, just do not try to get me to accept homosexuality as natural. It is not.

    Why go after a business just because they stand up for what is good in America. Do you remember when the people who owned businesses and did not want to take a stance of their big issue. Well, they were intimidated by the union workers for not taking a stance with them. If any one person decides not to do business with an establishment for their policies, I go along with that but to condemn a company just because they are for family values is wrong. And I always thought the muppets stood for family values, guess not.

    Bravo for Chick-Fil-A and Mr. Cathy!!!!! First: it’s wonderful to learn of a company with a firm philosophy of fairness and a policy of ‘live and let live! Second: they have the absolutely BEST chicken on the market! I will not be waiting for August 1st to enjoy a meal at Chick-Fil-A – although I WILL be there on that date, too! Let’s ALL inform the approximately 2% homosexual population that we stand firmly behind companies such as Chick-Fil-A!!!! .. and that the ‘threats’ and pathetic whining constantly coming from the liberal left mean nothing to the other 98% of the American citizenry!
    Meanwhile, let the Muppets eat pork … and ‘chitlins’ (watch out, Miss Piggy!)
