Media Tries To Tie “Batman” Shooter To Tea Party

Less that twenty-four hours after the shooting in Aurora, CO, allegedly by Jim Holmes at the screening of the new movie, The Dark Knight Rises, the media is already jumping on to politicizing the tragedy. The new film has already been politicized, but to take a tragedy like this, where at least a dozen people lost their lives, is just sickening.

Leave it to ABC’s Good Morning America to bring on Brian Ross who, while speaking with George Stephanopoulos, said “There’s a Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado, page on the Colorado Tea party site as well, talking about him joining the Tea Party last year. Now, we don’t know if this is the same Jim Holmes. But it’s Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado.”

The page Ross refers to was actually promoting an event in which Brigitte Gabriel would be speaking at on Thursday, July 26. This does not seem very credible that a man promoting such a thing would then go out and begin to shoot up people in the manner that the shooter did in this instance.

But we should not be surprised that the liberal media would do such a thing. They immediately politicized the Gabrielle Giffords shooting claiming that Sarah Palin might somehow be to blame because of her “target list” that she posted to her Facebook page back in March of 2010 which had crosshairs on areas in which she wanted to take back control from Democrats and among them were three areas in Arizona.

CBS continued to promote that the shooter, Jared Loughner, had a particular extreme conservatism and yet we came to find out that he didn’t even have a particular political ideology. Eventually a proper analysis of Loughner was made, but only after the damage had been done to smear conservatives.

Already though Joel Pollack is pointing out that the two men are vastly different:

There are many people with the name “James Holmes” in the area, and the James Homes on the Tea Party website could match a James Homes from Aurora, CO who is in his fifties and therefore does not fit the description of the suspect. More evidence that Ross, Stephanolpoulos and ABC rushed to blame the Tea Party without confirmation that the suspect is also the Tea Party member.

There is no doubt in my mind that the media and Democrats will shamelessly exploit this and in the end there will be a cry for more gun control and more attempts to tie this to conservatives.

UPDATE:As predicted, New York mayor Michael “You Can’t Have Big Gulps” Bloomberg is already calling for more gun control due to something that took place 2500 miles from his state.

I think that he got the idea from a recent Law & Order show where the shooter hid his weapon just outside the back door of the theater,

Ask Obama how he feels about this. Just got a rather exstensive report of all the dope (mainly marijauna) that he was involved with when he lived in Hawaii. He hug out with the Choom Gang. Maybe you can get information on the Choom Gang by putting it in a search engine.

Gun control of citizens buying for personal home protection is not going to solve the issues when you have every thug, gang banger, thief, murderer etc. buying guns on the street out the back of cars and ordering them on line and even at some gun shows, etc. and they don’t even register them, so how can the police POLICE these guns when they don’t even know that they are out there until it happens. Control means that you have such a way of doing just that, but that’s like trying to control how many candy bars one is allowed to buy when you can get them just about anywhere. The only thing that will happen with gun control is giving control to those that do not buy guns legally, to have the upper hand on citizens that now cannot buy for some legal reason some type of protection. It is a constitutional right to bear arms and although I do not have one of my own would like to think that if I did need to get one one day the country where I am born and pay taxes and vote people into office would not make it so stringent to be able to have some sort of protection in my home. Someone saw this guy with all these guns or had to of known that this young man had these armaments in his home, really what did they suppose he was going to do with all these guns and ammo?

We should all remember the greatest gun control scheme of them all was implemented by the Nazis shortly before World War II. When the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto realized that they had been rounded up to be exterminated they tried to resist. They pooled their weapons and had less that 10 handguns and less than 100 rounds of ammunition. The massacre of the Jews, Gypsies and others the Germans considered undesirable was the direct result of gun control. Our founding fathers in their wisdom headed off this madness by simply allowing us to keep and bear arms. Military weapons are what the population needs in abundance to keep madmen from annihilating their fellow countrymen.

June9245, Could you post this on facebook, if you have a facebook account. This is very useful information especially in light of the recent terrible tragedy that happened just 15 miles from where I live. Thank You!

Trying to politicize a tragedy. Idiots.

let’s do it the right way. After he has been found guilty, take him to the gallows and hang him until death. And make all TV networks televise it. A picture is worth a thousand words. But no he will plea agree and he will just be another one taking up space.

After reading, and hearing, the vicious assaults by the Liberals on Sarah Palin over Gabrielle Giffords shooting, when I heard the Stephanopoulas blame game begin again., I stopped reading, expecting the shooter to be tied to the Liberal movement. No one knows what yet another nut case thinks or what prompts him to draw blood and takes lives but when a tragedy like this is politicized, it should turn all Americans off of. the Liberal media and their political leanings. It’s so disgusting, like the party itself, that they don’t deserve one second of our notice. In the same vein, Obama spouted about how we should love one another. It would be nice if he held to that and set a firm example of stopping the partisanship that he exercises daily, the lies and, of course the motto of the Liberals – ‘Blame the opposition for everything bad they can dream up.’ What a bunch of stomach turning twits. If they grow a bone of sincerity, it might help them but as they are, they’re empty windbags and this shooting is something they should stop piously commenting on..

50 people shot & 12 are dead! Sounds like a typical weekend in Chicago.
