IRS Blows Smoke About Obamacare Implementation

IRSSay it isn’t so! The IRS apparently is not sure how many people they are going to need to hire or even how much implementing Obamacare will cost. Well one thing is for sure and that is it was previously determined to be around 16,500 new IRS agents that needed to be hired.

I’ll let you do the math on that one. Just remember that federal employees average greater pay than any of us in the private sector. Also keep in mind that many of these, if not all of them, will receive a pension as well. That’s right Obamacare is the gift that keeps on giving long after these new agents are gone from their offices. They’ll still be on the federal tit.

APNews reports,

The changes will require new regulations, forms and publications, new computer programs and a big new outreach program to explain it all to taxpayers and tax professionals. Businesses that don’t claim an exemption will have to prove they offer health insurance to employees.

The health care law “includes the largest set of tax law changes in more than 20 years,” according to the Treasury inspector general who oversees the IRS. The agency will have to hire thousands of workers to manage it, requiring significant budget increases that already are being targeted by congressional Republicans determined to dismantle the president’s signature initiative.

“Knowing the complexity of the health law, there’s no question that the IRS is going to struggle with this,” said Rep. Charles Boustany Jr., R-La., chairman of the House Ways and Means oversight subcommittee. “The IRS wants more resources. Well, we need to start digging down into what are they doing with the resources and personnel.”

As to the 16,500 additional auditors, agents and various other employees that will be needed “to investigate and collect billions of new taxes from Americans,” IRS spokesman Dean Patterson claims in an email “That is a made-up number with no basis in fact. The 2012 budget calls for about 1,200 employees for the IRS to implement the (Affordable Care Act), and the vast majority of those employees are needed to build technology infrastructure to support payments like the new tax credits for individuals and small businesses.”

I’m sorry folks, but honestly are we really to believe what Mr. Patterson is saying here? The man is delusional. Budget? What budget? There is no budget that they are actually operating with.

Furthermore he wants us to believe the “vast majority” of the 1,200 people he cites are going to be basically working on software. This man is not living in the real world or he is lying. since he works under the Obama administration, my guess is the latter. Does he have any idea what kind of man power they will need to enforce this stuff on the millions, yes millions of people, who will not purchase insurance and who won’t be willing to pay the new taxes either? I’m sure he hasn’t taken any of this into account, nor has he taken into account how many new attorneys they will need to be in court in all of these cases. This is typical federal government BS.

The only thing not based in fact is Mr. Patterson’s statements and I would be willing to put what I make in a year on the fact that by this time next year, should Obamacare continue as law, that I’ll be writing on thousands of new IRS employees.

Republicans apparently mocked Patterson as well. The top four GOP representatives on the Ways and Means Committee wrote, “The agency’s repeated lack of transparency to Congress and its failure to provide accountability to the American taxpayers raises fundamental concerns about implementation authorities vested to the IRS.”

You mean to tell me that in all those 2,700 pages of Obamacare, it wasn’t spelled out how the IRS was supposed to harass us with this tax extortion?!?!

Concern over the potential abuse of the broadly interpreted and non specific language of Article I, Section 8 of the constitution was expressed in length by James Madison in The Federalist # 41 in his General View of Powers Conferred by the Constitution as early as Jan 19, 1788.
The specter of the dangers therein expressed has reached full maturity in the past 224 years with accelerated intent exposed in the judiciary supporting the offices created from within vaguely worded content of the Article I.
Legislation rooted in Article I aggregate power vested to the general government has continued to infringe on states rights and suppress individual liberties since its inception using titles hidden in “general welfare” supported by “excises” in line One but reinforced by borrowed money in line Two.
The16th amendment in 1913 was passed when “income” was considered solely as an investment gain “from whatever source derived” with taxation of the labor class used to finance the growing government parasite and followed by the Federal Reserve Act in December for obvious reason, banker greed. Supporters of amendment also proclaimed “Tax the Rich” knowing that they would only pass it on to consumers, get back in tax returns or both.
The Internal Revenue Code hides as much abused language as the PPHCA with more forced taxation for those that really work in as many pages. PPHCA’s true taxation intent became clear when enforcement assignment to the IRS was revealed. Mandatory PPHCA role as investment return guaranty for private companies in bed with the FDA and USDA remains concealed from all but the vigilant. Over half of the US states have opted out of the facade designed to supplement the share incomes of those invested in the chemo / pharmaceutical giant.

Check to see how the IRS has you classifed, if as an individual entity, then payment would be voluntary, if as a corporation, which no individual taxpayer is, then you’d be required to pay. Don’t know how true this is, but I read it somewhere, if it is true, then a couple million Americans demanding the IRS change their classification to what it should be, could shut them down, without waiting for our benevolent Congress!

How can anyone trust OBAMA when all he does is spew lies. This loser bill has to be repealed.

The elected Republican officials should leave the “mocking” to stand up comics and get serious about repealing ObamaCare. Something I think none of them have the stomach to see through. Boehner is braying again and like any jackass, cannot be taken seriously.

Repeal the IRS. Governor Paul LePage of Maine has called it “the new Gestapo.” He’s right. The IRS is like the Gestapo. In Nazi Germany, and all
dictatorships, you’re guilty until proven innocent. Guess what? With the IRS, you’re guilty until proven innocent. Let’s do what other countries, including Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong, have done, and adopt a flat
    tax.

“Considering that senior officials at the Internal Revenue Service are fully aware of the fact that there is no law currently in existence making a U.S. citizen liable for or required to pay either the income tax or the social security employment tax, only a truly generous citizen would, upon discovering this, continue to voluntarily donate these taxes to the government by allowing them to be withheld from his paycheck on a 100% voluntary W-4 withholding agreement. But, then again, the IRS would be dead in the water without the “voluntary (and docile) compliance” of employers and employees and has said so all along.” — William Cash, IRS Senior Manager
“In a recent conversation with an official at the Internal Revenue Service, I was amazed when he told me that ‘If the taxpayers of this country ever discover that the IRS operates on 90% bluff the entire system will collapse’ “.- Henry Bellmon, Senator (1969)
“Our federal tax syste“Our tax system is based upon voluntary assessment and payment, not upon distraint”.- United States Supreme Court, in Flora v. United States
“Our federal tax system is, in short, utterly impossible, utterly unjust and completely counterproductive [it] reeks with injustice and is fundamentally un-American… it has earned a rebellion and it’s time we rebelled”.-President Ronald Reagan, May 1983“Only the rare taxpayer would be likely to know that he could refuse to produce his records to IRS agents… Who would believe the ironic truth that the cooperative taxpayer fares much worse than the individual who relies upon his constitutional rights”.-Judge Cummings, U.S. Federal Judge, in US. v. Dickerson (7th Circuit 1969)
“Let me point this out now. Your income tax is 100 percent voluntary tax, and your liquor tax is 100 percent enforced tax. Now, the situation is as different as night and day. Consequently, your same rules just will not apply…”.
-Dwight E. Avis, former head of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax Division of the IRS, testifying before a House Ways and Means subcommittee in 1953
“Fear is the key element for the IRS in achieving its mission. Without fear, the IRS would have a difficult time maintaining our so-called system of voluntary compliance …”. “Given the opportunity, the IRS will take the easy way out and grab whatever it can… the IRS does not really care about you and what your future……. may be”.-Santo Presti, former IRS Criminal Investigation Agent and author of “IRS In Action

The Republicans, with a few exceptions are completely incapable of providing us with less govt and more freedom. Say what you will about Ron Paul, but about many things he is right. Abolish the 16th amendment, abolish the IRS and you have rid this country of the American KGB. Then and only then will we begin to break the bonds of govt that BOTH parties have chained us with.

I hope that with a new government (Romney) in the white house this stupid law can be declared unconstitutional and stopped on its tracks. This is the biggest transfer of moneys and the biggest grab of power by any one since the begging of the country. Time to repeal this law is Nov 7, 2012

Fair Tax. No wonder so many don’t mention the Fair Tax. Don’t let the ‘progressive’ tax be around for it’s 100th anniversary – 2013.
Educate about the 13th amendment .

Given that the IRS mooches can’t even answer current tax questions right most of the time how can we trust them with something as vast and unworkable as Ovomitcare? We can’t. Repeal Ovomitcare and eliminate the IRS
