Eyewitnesses: Second Person Involved In ‘Dark Knight’ Shooting

According to two eyewitnesses, there may have been another person that helped James Holmes in the shooting that took place on Friday morning.

The first young man, interviewed by NBC channel 9, claims that a can of tear gas came from the side of the theater opposite of Holmes.

This young man was interviewed on CNN and claims that a person on a cell phone moved towards the exit door and moments later the gunman appeared from the same door and began his shooting spree.

Why doesn’t the Obama/Quinn/Emanuel team concentrate on their home turf of Chicago?? Over 260 deaths from random gunfire. . .       SO STRANGE SO STRANGE- The Big Question I have: why did he tell the cops his apt. was booby trapped? Does this show he still has some conscience? If he was brainwashed, was his brainwashing wearing off? A very tragic incident—just hope we can keep him alive to get the truth which seems so obscure these days. Wonder if we’ll ever know the truth?

    I live in Colorado. The most recent police reports which I have heard seem to indicate that the police believe that the shooter was working alone. The police believe that the gunman, who was NOT dressed in his tactical gear, entered the movie theater like an average patron and purchased a ticket. Then he went inside the theater and found a seat close to the exit door. When no one was paying much attention, the gunman got up and left by the exit door, BUT propped the Exit door open. The gunman then returned to his car, where all of his gear and guns were stowed, and moved his car up close to the Exit door. The gunman then donned all of his protective body gear, collected his guns and returned to the theater, where he entered via the Exit door which he had left propped open when he left to collect his gear. Once he had returned inside the theater, the gunman initiated his rampage.

      It would seem the lack of a security alarm on the exit doors is partly (a very minor part obviously) to blame. Our theaters down here all have alarms on the exits to warn the staff that an emergency situation may be occurring. If the exits are opened for any reason, a staff member is sent to find out why & re-secure door if no emergency exist. This may ??? have interuppted him & given some outside a chance to see him & call police. This is all speculation obviously!!!

      Everything which happened COULD have been much worse! Early reports indicated that the gunman was a “Joker” affectionado – which means that he was very impressed by the character of one of Batman’s arch-rivals – The Joker. According to some of the Internet write-ups on the character of The Joker which I have seen, one of the characteristics of The Joker is that The Joker kills for no reason at all! So the bottom line is that comic books, movies and TV shows have been glorifying a criminal like the Joker since approximately 1940 – when The Joker made his first comic book appearance. My understanding is that, in the previous Batman movie, The Joker – who was portrayed by actor Heath Ledger – threatened to blow up a hospital if he did not get what he wanted right away. So, naturally, the police were busy evacuating all of the hospitals in town while The Joker headed out for more dirty work. Since the Aurora gunman DID have a connection to a local hospital, my understanding is that the police DID send officers over to the hospital to check for bombs and other types of booby traps. So, although the local news media DID briefly mention the Aurora gunman’s affection for the character of The Joker, they quickly hushed up the story. Not quite sure why. But, what it boils down to is that, for the past seventy years or more, D.C, Comics and their media partners have been using the power of the media to help glorify a criminal who brags that he kills for no reason at all – and they are suddenly surprised that someone decided to imitate what he has been seeing in print and on the screen throughout his entire life?

    Figures this comes from CNN. First I’ve heard of it. It’s been told over and over and over this guy bought a ticket, went out the EXIT, propped it open, then returned. CNN just wants something besides empty news. Oh, and it’s amazing the security everyone MUST go through..TWICE, before entering a theater in Israel. Banning guns will only put evil at an advantage. Wish I’d been there. First shot I heard, that dude would be so ‘toes up’! Guess the cops would have figured out a different scenario on the apartment… which would have been horrible, no doubt. just say’n!

      Given the protective gear he was wearing, Llily, the person going out toes first would have most likely been you…he was dressed in full body gear from head to feet so your bullet would be worthless in this scenario. However, the flash from your gun would have enabled him to pick you as a target! However, I do agree that we should NOT allow anyone to repeal the 2nd amendmant–our Founding Fathers knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote it.

      If movie goers had been carrying (even 5-6) out of the hundred plus in theater 9. The gunman would have been stopped earlier. All witnesses report being able to see him clearly, due to his muzzle flashes. he wouls have been picked off by head shots after being knocked down by impacts to his body armor.
      This guy didn’t want to die (ie.armored up and passive surrender), he would have fled armed resistance.

    None of this surprises me. There is a larger conspiracy going on here … and too many people in Government … Congress and the Courts … are not paying attention. This gets the heat off Obama and is a Crisis Too Good To Waste … EVEN if the Administration had to stage the entire thing. I wonder if the shooter wasn’t supposed to kill himself and failed to do so … and if he’ll ‘suddenly’ die of whatever it was Brietbart died of. And his coroner will ‘disappear’ too, probably. Obama is going to win in November even if he got Zero actual votes.

    ‘Eyewitness’ accounts are almost invariably wrong and there are many studies that indicate this is a fact. You can ask 10 people who witnessed an accident at the village square and get 10 different points of view–mostly erroneous. Somehow, I don’t think there were two in this horrific slaughter; it is well-planned out, right down to the protective gear he was wearing. And why is CNN the only one reporting the posibility of 2 gunmen? I have listened to several other stations and they all say there is only the one person involved. However, the investigation is still underway, so we will have to wait and see what the final outcome of this will be…and I will go along with the police reports rather than believe some reporter.

      And who has ever heard of 100 FBI agents on site and ready to go to work within mere early-morning hours? And how did they know the shooters name, with a picture and his home address all withing mere hours? FBI might be good, but they ain’t THAT good.
      And where did Holmes get tear gas? It is not legal to sell or buy on the street? Did the FBI “sell” the gas to Holmes? Maybe thinking they would do a sting, and then obama got wind of the deal and told them to “let it happen”? This op has obama/holder written all over it.       You have no idea how quickly the FBI can respond to anything…they do. Not all stay in DC; they are assigned to the different areas throughout the country and have a man-power force they don’t publicize. They also have information on most citizens, including you. Folks can purchase different kinds of weaponry legitimately–what do you think ‘pepper spray’ is? Besides, I didn’t hear anyone (except one reporter) actually call the gas “tear gas,” but it was referred to over and over as “some kind of irritant” and that “he threw a canister.” Quit with the conspiracy crap–this was a callous rogue who decided he wanted to murder as many people as he could at one time. Fortunately, he didn’t quite exceed the number of deaths he dreamed about.

      Why did he passively let the police approach him in the parking lot and arrest him if “he wanted to murder as many people as he could” and then he told them the apartment was booby trapped. Had even he had enough violence?

      If you want to know why Holmes let the police “passively” apprach him, ask Holmes–even the police are wondering about that. Had he had enough violence? Again, Ask Holmes–only he can tell you what he was thinking at the time. The investigation will most likely find where the $ came from. None of what you claim adds up to a conspiracy, which is a bunch of claptrap used when folks don’t want to accept the fact that there really are evil individuals in the world who enjoy the act of killing fellow human beings. Fact is, the former student is considered to be brilliant and, therefore, more than capable of planning and committing such a crime.

      The “shall carry” laws are not all that is perceived
      These State legislators that pass concealed handgun laws are not really providing the citizens with the rights of self protection when any establishment or business by displaying a cardboard sign of “no guns allowed”, can deprive a citizen with a CCW their second amendment rights of self protection.
      The right to carry and protect is truly a False Law meant to appease the NRA and Gun Rights Activists. This false law gives the citizen with a licensed CCW the false impression that they have the right to protect themselves, when in fact any establishment or business can deny that right, or any overreaching prosecutor can fabricate a case against that person and send them to jail, or any law enforcement officer can detain or harass, without cause, at their whim, any person with a CCW that is carrying.

      It was getting terrible- all these people had guns in their homes and it wasn’t safe to be a criminal ! Everybody expects criminals to have guns, but it was getting downright scary to sneak into a house. Then again, the population gets uncontrollable when they have too many liberties- best to keep them beat down and out of work. The Keystone Pipeline was privately funded and all those workers might start feeling independent- just tell people you really care and the Republicans are holding up the “Jobs Bill” like they held up unemployment extensions at the same time Obamacare was passed.       I recently read or was it a t.v. interview, can’t remember presently. Anway, Englands crime went up 40% with their anti-gun laws. Citizens are now told if an intruder enters the home, to go out the back door. The crime rate has exploded so signifacantly that for the first time in history Englands “Bobbies” are now carrying guns and don’t like it.

      The late great Ted Kennedy tried to enact such a law where if you shot an intruder and you had a way out of your house and didn’t take it you would be charged with a crime that would include murder if the criminal died.So much for a Liberal deranged mind.

Only certain citizens in Australia had the right to own personal firearms. This new law affected them. Now even THEY don’t have that right. You missed the whole point that the Australian POLICE OFFICER was trying to make in that comment. It’s about gun control, and the statistics that show the increase in crime, since the recent gun confiscation law was put in effect. Try this : Gun control=bad. Law abiding citizens ownership of firearms=good. Read the Constitution. 2nd Amendment.       No worries, I understand that its completely different circumstances in Australia and the U.S. and I’m not saying gun control would work in the U.S.! I’ve lived here (in the U.S.) for the past 10 years and I get what you all are saying… I think gun control did have positive effects in Aus in the long term, but would be impossible to regulate in the U.S. due to the population size, bordering countries, etc. Let alone the fact that revoking the right to bear arms would be taking away your civil liberties. :)

      I really don’t know much about Australia, but the only thing that gun control would do in the US, is make it easier for the present tyrants in power to enslave us. Which is the direction they’re headed, at the present time. That’s why our founding fathers gave us the right to bear arms. Thanks for the nice reply.

    Australian Gun Law Update
    Here’s a thought to warm some of your hearts….

    Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the real
    figures from Down Under.

    It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were
    forced by a new law to
    surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own
    government, a program costing Australia taxpayers
    more than $500 million dollars.

    The first year results are now in:
    Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent,
    Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent;
    Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

    In the state of Victoria
    lone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. (Note that
    while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not
    and criminals still possess their guns!)
    While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady
    decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically
    upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed
    that their prey is unarmed.
    There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and
    assaults of the elderly, while the resident is at home.

    Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public
    safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was
    expended in ‘successfully ridding Australian society of guns….’ You
    won’t see this on the American evening news or hear your governor or
    members of the State Assembly disseminating this information.

    The Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns in the
    hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control
    laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.

    Take note Americans, before it’s too late!

      You are spot on with that final summation, as the stats do indeed
      speak volumes. The history of gun control in the 20th Century is
      an ugly one, ranging from Turkey in 1911, where 1.5M Armenians
      were murdered, after gun control was implemented through Uganda’s
      murderous spree against the 300,000 Christians there, ending in 1981.
      Everyone needs to be aware of this, as the RESULTS are always, in-
      evitably the same, without exception. Guns are forcibly seized from all
      law-abiding, responsible citizens, leaving citizens harmless & prey to
      both criminals &/or tyrannical, oppressive regimes, such as Stalin’s
      Soviet Empire, Mao’s China, Hitler’s Germany, & Pol Pot’s Cambodia.

      You are mistaken. A treaty has the power and authority of a constitutional amendment, due to the Supremacy clause built into the Constitution. I hate to say it, but if this treaty is ratified, the 2nd amendment is dead, …. legally!

      THis has nothing to do with “Gun” Control, this has always been just about CONTROL. The federal government employees think they are smarter than you and therefore they need to be in control of every aspect of your life. You can’t be left armed because you aren’t smart enough to be allowed to have guns. They will let you know what you can and can’t have and what you can and can’t do.

      I heard a report that this monster came in with a ticket, pretended to have a phone call and left through an exit door into the parking lot then re-entered through the same door a few minutes later. All he had to do was prop it open.
