While some would argue that illegal immigration is good for the economy, most people understand what illegal immigration does. It doesn’t bring good to the economy or the nation at large. In fact, Barack Obama sees illegals as his road to a 2012 victory.

Over at End Of The American Dream they have listed ten ways in which illegal immigration damages America and its economy.

They are as follows:

In the United States today, 53 percent of all college graduates under the age of 25 are either unemployed or underemployed. Many of them are absolutely desperate for work.

That is right – wages go down.

#3 Illegal Immigrants Will Overwhelm Our Welfare System
Every year, illegal immigrants receive tens of billions of dollars in welfare payments. They get free food assistance, free housing assistance, free health care benefits and free education for their children. Life is good if you are an illegal immigrant and you know how to game the system.

Mexican drug cartels continue to expand their influence inside the United States at a frightening pace. They are slowly taking over our communities. How far do things have to go before we say enough is enough?

There is no doubt that none of these things are good. Immigration policy is critical for a nation. We want people to come here, but we want them to come legally. There are many reasons that we do not want an influx of illegals, and one of the main ones is the strain it actually produces on jobs and the economy.

Frosty Woolbridge makes a great point on this as he writes,

“The lifetime net fiscal drain—taxes paid minus services used—for an adult immigrant is $55,200.00 according to Carrying Capacity Network. Who makes that money up? You do! Your work! Your taxes!

With a minimum of 15 million illegal aliens in our country, these figures are the tip of the iceberg.

You can count on your corporations devouring cheap labor as they send you to the unemployment lines. Additionally, they pay PAC groups to keep senators and congressmen in their back pocket. How do I know? Virtually zero companies in 2011 were taken to court for hiring illegal aliens. None went to jail. However, it’s a $10,000.00 fine per illegal alien hired and up to five years in prison. You would think that would deter corporations. Not when they’ve bought off enforcement!”

If we do not get a hold on the issue of illegal immigration, we will continue to pay a very high prices for their lawlessness and the complicity of those in Washington who will do nothing to end it truly reform it. When I say this, I mean Constitutionally, not amnesty and not executive order, as Barack Obama issued last Friday, basically saying he was not going to do his job. America needs real men with real constitutional solutions to this issue.

This illegal immigration issue is probably what lost John McCain the election. Nobody is illegal for being somewhere! This minor annoyance for a few people is distracting from the really important issues. Our civil servants are stealing us blind. They misappropriate our tax money for themselves and then sell off the valuable resourses on government land to foreign companies for less one cent on the dollar. The Immigration and Naturalization Service hands green cards on silver platters to rich drug bosses. Somehow, people do not consider these smuggling kingpins as “illegal” because they can grease the hands that provide the legal paperwork. Many of our Congressmen have sold their souls to big special interest groups. Their main occupation recently has been to revoke the rights enumerated in our Constitution so that we can be “protected from terrorists,” although it is the government that is terrorizing the citizens. Our elections are settled more by fraud than by votes. Our news media lie continuously to us about the issues. Veterans are being murdered by the tens of thousands so that the government can get out of paying the benefits it owes them, and Veterans’ Administration employees get merit bonuses for their murderously criminal malfeasance. Former Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton traded off a few billion dollars of oil shales on federal lands to a Dutch oil company in return for a $1.3 million per year job for herself, and she still has not been prosecuted! In fact, all of the Bush era crooks and those from Obama’s Administration are getting away with every crime in the book. The Justice Department is too busy prosecuting baseball players and bicycle racers to protect the public from trillion dollar frauds. I welcome the immigrants whether their papers are in order or not. We need them because since Rowe v. Wade, we have murdered 56 million of our own unborn children using our own tax dollars, and without immigration, our own population will soon disappear.

I watched while the quality of life in Southern Ca. “sank” under the flood of illegals in the ’80s. I now work part-time as a security guard at a food processing plant in PA that employs around a hundred illegals. They make $11 or more pr. hr. (which is more than I make). The reason that more Americans aren’t competing for these jobs is that the temperature in the plant is quite harsh. Air conditioning the plant would not be prohibitively expensive as they waste a great deal of energy currently. If the government wanted to help Americans get back to work they should find ways to encentivize and rehabilitate industry to provide more opportunity for Americans who need jobs. We definately need to up-date our guest worker and legal immigration systems, but the current “non-system” is apalling!

I live in a town in Oregon where the Mexican population is about a third of our town. They don’t want to join this country but take it over. I went to the county Fair Grounds for the 4th of July one year. There was not one American Flag, but many Mexican Flags. No one spoke English only Spanish and Mexican Food. There were Mexican cowboys. I am still mad about it. They form areas of town they settle in so they never have to speak English. In California, Santa Ana is called Bean Town because it is all Mexicans now. I went there to sell my Uncle’s Home that was there. No one there spoke English. These were men who were born and raised in the US. This is what can happen all over the country if we let it.
In our town we have the worst school system. No one is paying into it because most of the kids that go to our schools are illegal aliens. There are no taxes being paid in. When I go to the store I know that if there is a Mexican in the line I will have a long wait, because they first pull out the Wix checks and then their welfair checks. I agree they are a drain on our society. I think we need to start sending them back not forgiving them and making them citizens. Here in Oregon they can not get a drivers license unless they are a citizen. Therefor there are a lot of hit and run accidents. No one has insurance. If you own a car but have no driver’s license you can’t get insurance. My uncle lost his license but continued to drive and hit someone. He didn’t have insurance. This is what happens to them. We are fighting now in the courts to get compensated for being rear ended by an non insured motorist. Not fun. Something must be done. What? I am not sure. But it must be different than has been done in the past. We in the West are being over run. If you don’t have them where you are, just wait, they will come.

INVASION

We are constantly abused and used by our government. Why would we have to plead and argue with our President and pols to stop the people entering our country “illegally.” Pres and pols ignore us. Their oaths do not include protecting us/America from immigrants, illegal immigrants, illegal aliens. Their oaths DO require them to swear to protect us from INVASION, from INVADERS. Words have meanings and we are being made dang fools of by these deep pockets.

From now on, drop the immigrant terms and call them what they are. They are entering our homeland uninvited and without permission. They are invaders and all of our elected pols are sworn by their oaths to protect us against invasion.

Spread the word. We have them cornered. When you call C-Span, talk shows, send editorials, comment to articles, make it clear that we have dropped the immigration terms and are now calling these people what they are, invaders, and as such we demand the president and all politicians fulfill their oaths of office and use force against invaders of our country.

Real simple. The smart arse pols will send military with orders to shoot, immediately or be brought to trial for TREASON. Cooperating with the Enemy Invaders. Got it? Get busy, we have little time before O’s school doors open with voter registration desks next to them. If O doesn’t stop this permission with benefits to invade, we must bring him to trial for TREASON. NOW.

Illegals? When you get to know some, and realize that they are struggling to live here…they all pay rent, they buy cars, they buy gas, they buy food and clothes….THEY would love to pay taxes, IF they could get a green card or a SS number! They DO put lots of money into the American economy, and most of them do the jobs that our “native Americans” would not do…they would not work in the fields, nor clean, nor do minimum wage jobs — but the illegals do those very jobs!
Our forefathers came here, and there were no rules and waiting lines to enter!….and much of the southwest of America, including Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California were in fact Mexican lands…which we somehow took away via treaties or whatever…but many of them ARE native to America, whether you believe it or not. Many illegals have worked jobs with fake SS numbers…the government gets billions of dollars a year from these very people and withheld wages, and the government knows that they can never collect, nor get Social Security! However, the government is very willing to take this withheld tax money.

  FIRST – If they are working here with fake or stolen ss#s, they should be put in jail for fraud, like many Americans are in jail for. When you commit fraud to obtain money, people are supposed to pay it back or be fined. Especially to the people whose life was destroyed because of their identity being stolen.
  
  SECOND, they take billions out of our economy and send it to Mexico, making it Mexico’s second largest income next to oil, which we buy from them. That’s why Mexico keeps getting involved with this and telling us what we can and can’t do with our border, and our goverment backs them up.
  
  THIRD – They hate us and think we are the oppressors of them. They conveniently forget that America bought this land from them and call us thiefs. A poll shows that 58% of Mexicans think the American Southwest belongs to Mexico.
  
  FOURTH – They are not natives here. They stole this land from the native Americans who were here when Mexico was New Spain. The Mexican govt voted on selling this land to America. Thinking us idiots for paying $20 million for mostly uninhabitable desert mountain land, which they called the bandlands, they quickly took us up on the offer. Because of the harsh conditions, Mexico could only get a few thousand Mexicans to settle here and most of them stayed and are still prominent familys in the border states. The Americans came in and turned it into an Oasis and, of course, now they want it back.
  
  FIFTH – They refuse to learn English and our government forces us to pay for all this bilingual crap. (When I worked in an American county government office, I asked if the hispanics would speak English at the work place. They told me to go learn Spanish. I complained and I got sent to diversity training).
  
  SIXTH – There is a well known hispanic group, which our government caters to, called La Raza (The Race). They believe the Southwest is Mexico and calls it Aztlan. They have a map showing this, a constitution and a flag. They recruit and give talks about recruiting people for the Reconqista, to reconqure this land for Aztlan. They are trying to get as many illegals here as possible to overwhelm us, making hispanics the dominant race. Then if we don’t let them create Aztlan, they have an illegal army here to fight with. I read this on their web site and when looking recently, I think they got smart and deleted that part.
  
  SEVENTH – They choose to have children that they can’t feed or provide for. Then they invade America and expect Americans to support them. Some people say this is okay because they are so poor, they can’t feed their children and anyone would do that in their circumstances. Not me, I would never bring a child into the world to starve. I would be terrified the child would starve before I could get accross the border and beg for help. With that thinking anyone who is poor is morally able to break laws and steal from people and that is not morally true.
  
  EIGHTH – Americans send millions to Mexico to help feed the poor, even though Mexico is a rich country. Then they also send poor to America for us to support. Mexico is rich because of America and America is going broke supporting their poor.
  
  NINTH – We spend billions on the instant citizens they have here. Plus, that is unconstituitonal. Read Amendment 14, which says both parents must be subject to the jursidiction of thereof, meaning America. Since they are here illegally, they are not suject to America jurisdiction and their children born here are not elligible for citizenship. People from all of the world rush here to have their babies here for instant citizenship. We are the only country that is stupid enough to do this, because it is a death wish on the country.
  
  TENTH – They are killing our environment. We are taking in more than we can assimilate to our infrastructure and nature. They have overpopulated too many areas of the US, using up our resources and bringing our carbon levels too high. Here we are doing our best to cut carbon levels, and all these illegals come here destroying any progress we make. Plus we are now being taxed for this. The EPA, who have a fit over anything Americans do with the environment, could care less about the damage illegal immigration does to the environment.
  
  On top of this, our government doesn’t seem to want to protect Americans from this foreign invasion. Instead they want to protect the illegals and give them freebies and incentives to come here and stay. The top reason for having a government is to protect its citizens from this, and since this government isn’t, one has to conclude that our government does not represent or work for Americans.

I haven’t seen college graduates “desperate” for work. there’s plenty of work – albeit not the kind of work that has been promised for years to everyone that got a college education. and probably NOT jobs they want to do – but there are jobs that go begging – and they get filled by foreign nationals, legal and illegal. Jobs that are too low for Americans to do. Now that we are a servant country, yes, most jobs are service jobs – means you are a servant. College seldom trains or educates people for real work – that work we’ve exported to China, Mexico, Indonesia and other parts of the world. Jobs now are to sell those foreign goods to Americans – and it can never build wealth – that wealth is going to the manufacturers. we just have play money and monopoly money is probably going to be more valuable in the future. The government,colleges and university’s have presented false hope to young people about what their education is really worth in living and making a living. When our monetary system and the subsequent collapse of our government finally happens – Americans will then get back to work.

I think anyone who is awake realizes that illegal immigration hurts the United States.
Think of the analogy of your home. Someone comes to your door wanting help. you help them out of charity. Then they bring in a slew of “family” members that you did not agree to help. Would you put up with this invasion? That is what is happening with our essentially open border. Those that are coming are the least desirable and least skilled.
My compassion is with those who want to and are immigrating legally. They are spending time, money and effort to become American citizens and taxpayers, while these others break in to the line and are rewarded!

Let’s face it, this illegal immigration has cost us billions upon billions on people who have no right to be in this country. Just look at the anchor babies the American taxpayers have paid for, 4.2 million over the last 18-20 years, and then handed them a U.S. birth certificate like it was a piece of Christmas candy. At $6,000-$8,000 per birth, that again, is a lot of money for people who have no right to be in this country. The problems go on with the costs of schooling these illegal alien children and giving them free health care for the illegal alien child and the parent, (parents). Now we have demonstrations by these illegal aliens demanding we give them amnesty and in-state tuition. Again these demands come from people who have no right to be in this country. Last I checked, we have no open borders, which is another thing these illegals want along with the la raza activists, and of course the Catholic Church and the worthless aclu.
Either we give our country away to these illegal aliens who have no right to be here, or we take back our country. Which do you want? Illegal immigration is a cancer, it has to be eradicated not tolerated.

This article leaves out the fact that our Social Security system desperately needs millions of young workers, whose S.S. payments would support the increasing numbers of the elderly. Immigrants are important in the solution to this problem. Without immigration, the number of younger workers available to support the older retirees would be sadly deficient. Comments on this issue?

  That is a poor argument that young workers will solve the problems of Social Security. Part-time, minimum wage jobs will never put in enough money to make a difference. Illegals or legals, there are NO jobs that will pay what the union jobs paid. All you have is more people using the limited reasources we have.   You obviously didn’t remember his #1 and #2 points by the time you got to the end of his article. If our citizens and legal immigrants were working, they would be paying those same taxes. We work with legal immigrants and I know several of them who are begging for jobs. Even underemployment is better than no job at all. We really don’t need more illegals who are frequently paid under the table or file taxes claiming all kinds of tax credits for ficticious children. With all their welfare benefits, they are also a big drain on our tax system.
