Sen. Rand Paul Speaks Out Against Senators Voting without Reading the Bills


rand paulSenator Rand Paul gave a scathing rebuke of Senators on Friday voting on bills that they have yet to read. As evidence of what he was saying, he held up a what looked like an entire ream of paper and declared, “For goodness sakes, a six hundred page bill and I got it this morning. Not one member of the Senate will read this bill before we vote on it.”

    What also frustrated me is that I write to a congressman/woman who is not in my “district or state” and they will not accept an email or comment. While it is true that I do not vote for them to be elected or remain in office, what they do and how they vote DOES affect me and I shuld be able to express my thoughts to them.

    In addition ALL should have an email account so that we can contact them w/o going to their web site, entering a bunch of info and then being limited to X number of words.

    Only when the money (really) runs out will bidnes as usual change. That seems to be approaching faster than our elected idiots realize but then , they really don’t care.

    There is one Senator who will survive the next civil war if there ever was one voh and if Obamafraud gets reelected there will be one. We must protect Ron And Rand Paul From the Domestic enemies He has to confront on a daily basis.

    Sen. Rand Paul, who has a lot more sense than his father Ron, simply brings up a “common sense” point. Who buys a car before he sees what it has as options, warranty, performance, etc? Who takes out a bank loan before he finds out what the APR is and the penalties involved for lateness, etc? Yet our so called government, which seems to have been dumbed down to the n’th. degree, votes on bills without reading them; bills which could affect national security, farming, energy, tax collection methods, etc! What other governments operate in this manner? Answer – Banana Republics!!!
