Congresswoman Maxine Waters, speaking at an event in Denver, Colorado, roused the crowd from its stupor with this challenge:
“Come on, Tea Party, let’s get it on!”
Some may think those are rambunctious words from a member of Congress even now facing ethics charges.
But this is merely a liberal being a liberal. An Alinsky liberal at that. It’s not about reason, or rational argument, or civil debate. It’s about shouting. It’s about making outlandish charges against your enemies as loudly and consistently as possible. Tell the lie long enough and (regardless of how ridiculous the charge) eventually some start to believe it.
Specifically, in this particular speech, two lies got repeated that are already as old and tired as the elastic band in grandpa’s underpants.
1. The Republicans are waging a war on women. Of course, the primary evidence for this war is that we don’t think tax-payers should be on the hook for a woman’s birth control. Did I say “primary?” I mean “only.” I don’t want to have to pay for your conquests. Apparently that’s now the equivalent of trying to kill you.
2. The real goal of every Republican opposition to President Obama is personal, and probably racist. It’s not that we disagree with his policies. We just can’t bear that he’s exactly as white as he is black, I guess.
Maxine Waters is to the left in America what Gay Pride parades are to the push for gay marriage. Gay Pride parades tend to shock regular folks and turn them off from the gay agenda. Waters tends to make normal people understand that the Radical Left is occupied by idiots.
Let her rant. Make sure Americans see her doing it.
