Latest Conservative Blogger Victim of SWATTING: Aaron Walker

swattingIn a previous article I’ve written on the issue that has come to be known as “SWATting”. SWATting involves a person making a call to police with a claim of shooting someone some other form of suspicious activity and providing an address to which SWAT teams are then dispatched and scare the residents at the address with their entry. In the recent past this has involved two conservative bloggers, Patrick Frey and Erick Erickson. It’s happened again and this time it was Aaron Walker, who has also written about a man that the previous two bloggers have referenced, Brett Kimberlin.

Some time after the SWATting, Walker tweeted,

Mr. Walker had just won a hearing earlier in the day when the judge in the case modified a previous ruling which prohibited him from exercising free speech.

According to Breitbart.com,

Walker told Breitbart News that he was home with his wife this evening at approximately 6:00pm when there was a “pretty insistent” knock at his door. Walker answered to find about six police cars in the street and two officers taking positions against the wall with M4 rifles. Since he was aware of the previous swattings of Patrick “Patterico” Frey, Erick Erickson, and Mike Stack, Mr. Walker asked the police if someone had called and claimed he had killed his wife, and police confirmed that that was the case.

In a statement to Breitbart News, Walker said, “This is obviously very upsetting but my wife and I are fine. Whoever did this had the intent to put our lives in danger.”

With all of the technology to trace calls, I’m wondering why dispatchers have not been alerted to this practice and thus finding the originator of the calls and dealing with the person appropriately. I also am wondering why law enforcement is not investigating “speedway bomber” Brett Kimberlin in all of this. Oh wait, it’s because he is funded by George Soros, and is also hand in hand with the State Department in helping international visitors into the United States. Keep in mind that this is a convicted domestic terrorist who has detonated real explosives on American soil. He’s also been a drug dealer, alleged child molester, convicted perjurer and forger.

Those making false 911 calls are breaking many laws should be arrested and put in prison. They risked several lives. Whoever lives in those areas should contact authorities and demand it.

  • Mike_Sr

This is my most serious fear. When you can accidently cut someone off in traffic and have them drop a dime on you and the police have *NO* responsibility to do due diligence themselves *BEFORE* acting, this is very scary.
If it happens I expect to die like the Marine whose house was next door to a dealers house and had his finger out of the trigger guard on his AR.
The insane thing is, is that I can’t carry to work… Why not do a little due dilligence and stop me going to or from work?
In the above case did they bother to ask the nieghbors if they’d heard anything or if there was a history of violence? BET THEY DIDN’T! Nothing but yahoos!

  • Thomas B

I’ve read about kimberlin before. Why not just shoot him?

  • Sutekh

What state is it that permits citizens to shoot “public servants” who are endangering innocent lives while acting like idiot puppets of radical anonymous callers?
Remember, this is what initiated the overturn of the sodomy laws and the inception of “same sex marriage — a false call that an armed man was loose in the apartment where the caller had just left two men who were engaged in homosexual sex practices.
It has been a long-time tactic of campus radicals to have co-eds accuse conservative speakers of rape, or sexual harrassment.

Voice analyzers are used in government to authenticate a person. They have been used in courts of law. Why not match the voice to known criminals such as Kimberlin?

Simple answer: We citizens need to find Brett Kimberlin and dispose of him.

Reports of Police beating, shooting and killing unarmed
Citizens are becoming a weekly U.S. event.

Could America be headed the direction Northern Ireland
evolved during the 1980’s? Increasingly British Police and military beat and
shot unarmed and surrendered Irish Catholics on the street, in their homes,
destroyed their property and imprisoned them without evidence. UK Police (RUC)
and British Army used joint paramilitary raids as cover to frame and
assassinate Irish Catholics that politically opposed British policies.
Consequently that caused extreme Citizen counter-resistance against the N.
Ireland UK Government, the Police and British Army through 1996.

U.S. police are increasingly raiding Americans’ homes
without a warrant. Imagine if warrants were not required, any federal agency or
local police could selectively target citizens without probable cause for
paramilitary raids, even repeatedly. Americans would not feel safe in their
homes. This appears the direction America is heading.

It is already here with the latest NDAA, no knock no warrant all someone has to do is tell them you are a terrorist and you are DONE.

    • wibbys1

sounding more and more like nazi Germany or the former USSR isn’t it.

    • Citizen X

Hey idiots it’s called the Patriot act! Who came up with that? Your poster boy G.W Bush and the GOP! Your civil rights are nil under this policy. Hmmm can’t blame that in your fall guy in chief!

  • jojo

How are these calls not being traced? Liberals are a group of fanatics that have managed to steal elections and use the internet to cause a great deal of harm to people. They could be making voip calls from a compter and hiding their IP, or just going to walmart and buying disposible phones….most likely the latter. When caught, the minimum sentence should be court costs, costs to the city for sending SWAT, a fine of at least 5,000.00, six months in jail and restitution payment to the family that was swatted

It never ceases to amaze me how low the left will stoop. Acts like this only prove that they’re mentally unstable

Remember these incidents when the Police Benevolent Society call asking for donations. or a policeman requests your assistance. Just tell them to Call SWAT.

  • Travis

What everyone seems to be missing is the answer to the problem.
PUT THE COPS IN JAIL !!!!

    • tired_of_morons

OK, These last 2 comments are just ignorant and make you no better than the thugs making these calls. Your statements are just as pathetic and an assault on the truth as any of the bold faced lies the libtards spew – grow up. There are good and bad in all professions, to generalize is insulting (and no, I’m not a cop) to anyone of reasonable intelligence. Unfortunately, this obviously still rings true – “Better to be silent and thought ignorant than to open you pie hole and remove all doubt!” Can’t fix stupid.

Learn this first..the arrogant apostles of utopian socialism have no ethical or moral boundaries so never ever be shocked at what they will say or do to promote or protect their naturally toxic policies. They have no choice…they are selling the fire of socialism to a scarecrow (us the voters).

  • Blair

    It’s an Obamacrat.

  • JFB

So, Mr. Brown, I noticed that you too have now written about this trash, Brett Kimberlin. How soon are you expecting the SWAT Team to show up at your door? We’ll be praying for you and your family, Sir!

    • http://FrontPorchPolitics.com/ Tim Brown

Thanks, I’m not that worried. I’m a no name:) appreciate your prayers though:)

  • smartgranny55

With all the attn given to SWATting, I hope it comes back to bite the libs in the butt

  • Hawkerone

Have to ask what city and who runs the city and police dept.?
Low life yellow cowards and its just the start in the run up to the election.

I can not understand how our police forces have become so complacent with this Swatting crap. The dispatcher has to know the number of who made the call for it is shown on the console they use. The dispatcher should find out that it was a bogus call and alert the police as to the phone number the call came from, the police should then arrest the person for making a false call to the dispatcher. It is sure that the number can be obtained, even if they have to go through the local telephone provider.

    • PAWatcher

The dispatcher can tell if the call is coming from the address stated by the caller, at least they can on TV. (that’s my only point of reference TV crime shows.)
I agree with you, the police don’t seem to be talking up these crimes.

    • Citizen X

      PAWatcher your and idiot!

    • PAWatcher

Thank you Citizen Xpert for your intelligent comment. Did it come off the top of your head quickly or did you have to think about it? Your is supposed to be you’re, and should be an, get it right next time you want to call me the idiot.

    • Tonto

Cops will tell you in private that some cops are stupid, and some cops become cops for the opportunity to use the badge to push people around. We all know that some cops are “dirty” and use the badge for monetary gain. Swatting has been around for a long time, for various reasons, and has often been used for revenge. To some extent, it relieves the boredom and creates a “training opportunity” too. Collateral damage is just ignored….even if innocents get killed. The best point in this article is “Why are the ACCUSERS of false claims not arrested and prosecuted?” Now there is a real good question.

    • Greg80

It’s not quite that easy. Incoming phone numbers are matched to the phone companies database to provide the address. Sometimes the phone company has old information. However, there are now websites that you can use to change your number into any number you wish to make it look like the call is coming from a different number (spoofing i.e.
http://www.spoofcard.com). Not saying that this excuses making dangerous entries and doing serious damage to ones home but just saying that it looks legit to the PD. And if they took the time, and there was even a way to double verify the call origin, then people would complain that it took them to long to respond to an actual situation. It’s sad that a few warped people out there can cause such situations to occur, especially if it is on purpose.

  • marineh2ominer

Criminals are a major hire for demonrats because most of what they do is unethical even when it is legal. Just think about how many people are in prison for killing cops while they were bing ” swatted ” and knew they were innocent of any wrongdoing , or worse yet , murdered by a swat team for NO reason other than attempting to defend their home and family like the former marine in Arizona .
