Barack Obama: From ‘Hope’ to Hypocrisy

The Republican National Committee has put out a new ad titled, “From ‘Hope’ to Hypocrisy: Executive Privilege”, which has been perfectly timed as the contempt of Congress vote is set to take place on Thursday.

Remember Obama’s words?

Let me say it as simply as I can: Transparency and the rule of the law will be the touchstones of this presidency.

This is the same guy, when he was a U.S. Senator, that chided George W. Bush for invoking executive privilege. Now when his hind parts are on the line, what does he do? Does he seek to be transparent? Heck no he doesn’t. He does the exact same thing.

Barack Obama has promised to be something politicians are not considered to be, transparent. He claimed he would bring hope and change. He has attempted lofty rhetoric, at least in front of a teleprompter but has he actually produced anything good for America? Nope.

And now as his signature piece of legislation hangs in the balance of the Supreme Court, Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege in what Katie Pavlich of Townhall.com calls Obama’s “bloodiest scandal and its shameless cover-up.” He’s done this for one reason and one reason only and it isn’t to protect Attorney General Eric Holder. It’s to protect his own butt.

Far from men in our nation’s history who would actually take responsibility, this president only knows how to blame others. In particular he just can’t keep George W. Bush off his mind.

    I think maybe we should close our eyes and click our heels three times before we make a wish that obama will go away. Thats about the most anyone has done to rid the problem of obama taking over this country and changing our way of life, ridding us of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Nothing has worked with this man, he has full rein to do as he pleases, take our freedoms, take our guns, throw out the Constitution and feel free to be the dictator that he wants to be. Even Tennessee is now saying that he is not qualified but that doesn’t matter, they will keep him on the ballot anyway. He swayed the Supreme Court, so what is going to stop him from making sure this election goes his way in November. Whatever it takes he will control to win the election in November. Hang on America, it’s going to be one hell of a ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Why are so many getting giddy over the “speed bumps” Obama is experiencing? I agree he should get four flats, but, right now, his campaign isn’t slowed at all. Not good. A result this AM of a survey shows him up by 9 in Ohio, 6, in Fl, and 4, in Pa; all swing states that Romney needs. So what’s to be happy about? And here in today’s paper is a paragraph,saying Scalia WILL be on OBAMA’s side in the healthcare decision. It will be hard to rid ourselves of these liberals. There has to be a way.

    VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you’ve been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives.

    IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian.

    X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet.
